Some reports from Taiwan say that Apple may launch the next generation of iPad on Steve Jobs birthday which is February 24th, 2012. This information for the so called iPad 3 came from the iPad supply chain available in Taiwan. Component makers are working very hard to meet this deadline and the first unit may have 4 million sets.
Reports are saying that component makers are facing a tough time to achieve the target as the parts are new and the supply chain is taking some time to keep up the pace. Employees are working overtime and the off days have been cancelled to achieve this target. Therefore it is very much clear that how much they are serious to attain the goal. Company is focusing on hardware section primarily. The retina display of iPad3 can be major attraction for the users.

Employees of supply plant as well as the people of Foxconn are also getting limited off-period especially during the annual Lunar New Year holiday period.
