It was the central point of discussion in Apple since 2010 that how to design iPad in a way that can have multi-user support. They started working on it as soon as they brought the first model of iPad because this demand was growing continually. They were looking for the features very similar to a computer where different users can operate the device. iPad is generally considered to be a shareable device because generally different members of a family would like to use it. It allows more flexibility and can be very beneficial for the customers. The overall usage of an iPad cannot be compared with a mobile because the features of an iPad are such the device must be able to handle different users. It makes much more sense.
Apple has recently admitted that it is an ‘issue’ and they are doing their ‘investigation’ in this field. They were giving the reply to a developer who was using Apple’s bug report tool. This developer discussed the issue with Apple that why iPad should have multi-user support. It is very surprising that Apple replied and they provided the necessary information that their engineers are working to solve this ‘issue’. This indication clearly tells that Apple is getting ready to bring an iPad which can have multi-user support soon. So far there is no information that when the device is going to be launched. However one thing is very clear that we would be able to use an iPad that can have multi-user support. It can be during the release of iOS6 or it can be the next iPad.
